Back in the ‘50s, everyone enjoyed the hilarious hijinks of the Little Rascals, also known as ‘Our Gang.’ In 1994, a ‘Little Rascals’ movie was released and offers a lot of great laughs for the family and the younger crowd.
‘The Little Rascals’ delivers a lot of light-hearted moments that lead to lots of laughs. One of my favorite bits is when Buckwheat and Porky are at the payphone, not knowing the number for 911, yet the fire department is across the street.
The 1994 kids comedy is one of those underrated hidden gems you can stream that is the perfect movie for the little kiddos and the family. All of the kids have their own little hilarious moments. The kids/family classic also has a few notable cameos.

Here are a few tidbits about the 1994 family modern classic:
Before filming each day, Spheeris would hug each child actor to ensure closeness and trust in the group.
Some of the surviving cast members of the original Little Rascals series were upset that they weren’t asked to participate in the movie.
Spheeris admits the biggest challenge of filming was working with the younger kids as they often had problems saying their lines properly.
During the 20th anniversary photo shoot, Ross Bagley revealed he improvised the famous “We Got A Dollar” number.
This film liberally borrows gags, situations, set ups, costumes and plots from many of the shorts that made up the original Our Gang movie series.
Right before the race, Buckwheat acknowledges his mom in the audience and Porky says “whoopy.” This is a play on words as Buckwheat’s mom is played by Whoopi Goldberg
‘The Little Rascals’ earned $10 million at the North American B.O. during its opening weekend. The film grossed a worldwide total of $67,308,282.
