The Herdman’s are absolutely the worst kids in the history of the world. They lie, they steal, they bully … and now they’ve hijacked the town Christmas pageant.

‘The Best Christmas Pageant Ever’ follows six siblings who sneak into church searching for snacks and walk away with the lead roles in the town pageant.

Grace is directing the performance for the very first time; she and her daughter Beth and husband Bob are in over their heads, especially against a town that wants them to kick the Herdman’s out.

But the play’s mischievous stars might unwittingly teach a community the true meaning of Christmas.

Based on the beloved 1972 book, ‘The Best Christmas Pageant Ever’ will really warm your heart with laughter and some extremely moving moments. This enjoyable film is definitely destined to become an annual holiday watch once it’s available on streaming/PVOD.

With the holiday season slowly getting closer, this family film will easily get you in the mod for the festive holiday! There are quite a few scenes that will give you a real good laugh, especially when we see some of the things that Herdman’s have done in the past.

From beginning to end, the whole family will have an absolutely great time watching this movie. Quite a few scenes made me burst out with laughter, mainly from the Herdman siblings and a few funny lines from the father. Gladys, the youngest of the siblings, can also make you laugh as well with a few of her scenes (especially during the pageant).

Once we see that the Herdman’s are actually doing all they can for the pageant and starts showing a little more to their story, the film becomes very compelling and moving. Grace (the mother) is one of the many highlights since she was one of the only ones pushing for Imogene (the oldest sibling) to play Mary while some of the others in the church and town didn’t want her and the other siblings involved.

‘The Best Christmas Pageant Ever’ also teaches us some valuable lessons about compassion, acceptance, and the true meaning of Christmas. So, will the town and church finally accept the Herdman’s? Come on down and see this new holiday film that’s destined to be a holiday favorite and see for yourself!
