A QUIET PLACE: PART II RE-VISIT!!!




When ‘A Quiet Place’ first came out in April 2018, no one had any idea how big of a hit the film would become. The film ended up being extremely well-liked by critics and audiences.

And, when the film ended on one heck of a cliff-hanger, people kept wanting to know what happened next.

In the nerve-wracking release of ‘A Quiet Place: Part II,’ following the deadly events at home, the Abbott family must now face the terrors of the outside world as they continue their fight for survival in silence. Forced to venture into the unknown, they quickly realize that the creatures that hunt by sound aren’t the only threats that lurk beyond the sand path.

The ‘Quiet Place’ sequel is a solid, tense feature that will surely not leave you disappointed. The anticipated follow-up delivers a lot of extremely intense moments and some really great scares.

‘Part II’ is one of those extremely rare sequels that is just as good as the original film, if not better. The film’s opening reveals the mysterious first day that the creatures attack and the entire first sequence will really rattle your nerves and from then on, you’ll definitely be on the edge of your seat.

Filled with lots of suspense and chills, ‘A Quiet Place Part II’ is definitely a feature film that has to be seen on the big screen. The audience really got into it and a few audience members were talking about how amazing the film is on their way out.

The cast: Emily Blunt as Evelyn Abbott; John Krasinski as Lee Abbott (the opening sequence flashback); Millicent Simmonds as Regan Abbott; Noah Jupe as Marcus Abbott; Djimon Hounsou as Man on Island and Cillian Murphy as Emmett.

‘A Quiet Place Part II’ is written, produced and directed by John Krasinski, who also worked on the 2018 surprise smash hit. Shortly after the April 2018 release of the first film, Paramount announced that a sequel was in the early stages of development. For a while, Krasinski wasn’t interested in returning for a sequel and even considered the first film to be a “one-off.” A few months after the first movie’s release, the filmmaker eventually began brainstorming ideas.

In June 2019, production began on ‘Part II.’ The project was shot in numerous places throughout Western New York, including locations like Akron, Olcott, Dunkirk, Lackawanna and Buffalo.

‘A Quiet Place Part II’ is rated PG-13 for terror, violence and bloody/disturbing images and has a running time of 97 minutes.
