When ‘A Quiet Place’ first came out in April 2018, no one had any idea how big of a hit the film would become. The film ended up being extremely well-liked by critics and audiences.

‘A Quiet Place Part II’ is written, produced and directed by John Krasinski, who also worked on the 2018 surprise smash hit.
Shortly after the April 2018 release of the first film, Paramount announced that a sequel was in the early stages of development. For a while, Krasinski wasn’t interested in returning for a sequel and even considered the first film to be a “one-off.” A few months after the first movie’s release, the filmmaker eventually began brainstorming ideas.
In June 2019, production began on ‘Part II.’ The project was shot in numerous places throughout Western New York, including locations like Akron, Olcott, Dunkirk, Lackawanna and Buffalo.
‘A Quiet Place Part II’ is rated PG-13 for terror, violence and bloody/disturbing images and has a running time of 97 minutes.
